Sea Bass belongs to the Moronidae family. Its scientific name is Dicentrarchus Labrax and in the wild it is common in the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. It is the second most important species, in volume, in Mediterranean Aquaculture. The main countries producers of farmed Sea Bass are Greece, Spain and Turkey.
