Board of Directors

The company’s Board of Directors consists of highly regarded and experienced professionals in the business and financial sector ensuring the effective strategy planning of the Group and the supervision of the company’s functions. 

Antonis Chachlakis, Chairman, CEO, Executive Member

He holds BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York, USA. He has many years of professional managerial experience in Industrial Automation. He has been with Nireus Group since 1996, holding various managerial positions. In 2000 he was appointed Managing Director of FEEDUS S.A. (company of Nireus Group), in March 2005 he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Nireus Group, while since May 2015 he is the CEO of Nireus Group. Moreover, in 2012 he was elected as the General Secretary of the Federation of Greek Maricultures (FGM), while in 2016 he was elected Chairman of FGM.

Nicholaos Chaviaras, Vice Chairman, Non-Executive Member

From 1970 until 1985 he was involved in various businesses in U.S.A. He is shareholder and the co-founder of the Company. He is appointed Vice-chairman and supervises issues related to the licensing of marine and in-land facilities of the Group. He is also Member of the Board in subsidiaries of the Group and in parallel he is involved in enterprises in the Greek island Chios (KEYPARKING S.A. and ILIENERGEIA S.A.).

 Lito Ioannidou, Independent Non Executive Member

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from McGill University in Canada. She is a business consultant for raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, finding strategic investors and restructuring of debts as the Managing Director of the company "LIAL BUSINESS CONSULTANTS" that she founded in 2006. She has served as Executive Vice Chairman - General Manager of the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX) SA (2001-2005), President and CEO of Citi Leasing (1998-2000) as well as Vice President - Deputy Market Manager Greece (2000), Vice President - Corporate Head and Country Credit / Risk Manager at Citibank Greece which she joined in 1978. She has also been Member of the Working Committee of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) and Chairman of the Audit Committee of FESE and has been involved in portfolio quality control conduct and risk asset reviews in Citibank Germany (1986), Egypt (1988), Argentina (1989), Italy (1991) and London (1994). She has been a member of BoD of M.J .MAILLIS PACKAGING SYSTEMS SA and LAVIPHARM SA.

 Markos Komondouros, Independent Non-Executive Member

He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Imperial College, an MBA from London Business School and an MA in applied linguistics from Birkbeck College. He has a 15-year career at S.G.Warburg / UBS that covers all aspects of financing and financial advisory services in international capital markets with specialization in mergers and acquisitions. After staying for 5 years in London and Paris, he moved to Istanbul, where he set up the bank’s Turkish office. He stayed in Turkey for 5 years and managed to increase the size of the bank’s activities in all fields, with particular emphasis on international investments in Turkey. He later established and headed a specialized support services sector team for UBS in London. Since leaving UBS in 2003, he has continued his advisory work in the UK, Greece and Turkey through Vector Partners.  Markos served as board member of Probank and currently sits on the board of TANEO. He speaks English, Turkish, French, Spanish and Italian.

 Konstantinos Lambrinopoulos, Non-Executive Member

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, as well as, a degree in Political Sciences from Pantion University. He also has post graduate studies in Marketing in Great Britain. Since 1980 he has served in various high managerial positions both in multinational and big national companies operating in Greece. Today he is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SPRINT ADVERTISING SA. He is an elected Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Management Association (HMA) since 2008. He also serves as a Vice Chairman in The Greek Entrepreneurship Club (LESHI EPICHIRIMATIKOTITAS), as member of the Board of ALBA Business School, of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) and as a member of the General Council of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). Mr. Lambrinopoulos is an elected Chairman of the Board of the European Management Association since 2009. He has also served for several years as Chairman of the Board of the European Marketing Confederation and of the World Marketing Association.

Anna Pouskouri, Independent Non-Executive Member

SMs. Anna Pouskouri – Reiche has over 30 years of experience in International Banking. She started her career in the International Department of Bayerische Vereibnsbank (then Bayerische Hypo- and Vereinsbank, Unicredit) in Munich. In 1979 Anna founded the bank’s Representative Office in Greece which was transformed into a full Branch in 1989. Following the bank’s strategy she concentrated on Corporate and Investment Banking transactions (international syndications, Project Finance, Trade Finance, Shipping, Asset Management) in Greece and Southern Europe as the Managing Director of the region. Anna left the bank in June 2010. Since then she is advising Greek and international companies on strategic and financial subjects. Anna has studied Economics (MA) in the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Urban and Regional Economics at the Technical University of Munich. She has participated to a number of Executive Education courses, among others the Advance Management Program of Harvard Business School. Anna speaks German, English, and French. She is married and has 2 children.

 Christina Sakellaridis, Independent Non-Executive Member

Mrs. Christina Sakellaridis is President of the Panhellenic Exporters Association, President of CPB ASSET MANAGEMENT AEDAK, President of “CHGS SAKELLARIDIS” Exports – Business Consultants, and Member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and f. A’ Vice President of ACCI, f.President of Export Credit Insurance Organisation (ECIO), f. President of Export Trade Organization (HOPE), CEO of INTERINVEST INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPANY SA, f. Vice President of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and f. Member of the General Board of the Bank of Greece. She holds a degree from Law School of the ATHENS UNIVERSITY and FACULTE DE DROIT PARIS. She was decorated by His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Carolos Papoulias with «The Gold Cross of Order of Honour» and by Decree of His Excellency the President of the French Republic Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy with «Les insignes de Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Merite».

Petros Fronistas, Independent Non-Executive Member

He holds a diploma of the Athens University of Economics (ASOEE). He has extended career track in the banking sector in top executive positions, mainly in the National Bank of Greece Group. He is also Independent, Non-Executive Member of the BoD of the Athens Stock Exchange listed company THRACE PLASTICS S.A. and SARACACIS BROS S.A.

Stratis Elissaios, Executive Member, Chief Financial Officer

He holds a BA from the Athens Economics University and an MBA in International Management from the European University.  He has many years of experience in major Greek companies as a General Manager and as a Financial Manager. From this position, he has actively participated in corporate restructuring procedures with the entrance of banks into the Share Capital of the NIREUS Group, in its operational reorganization as well as in the ongoing sale of the Group to new investors. He is married and has two sons.
