
Cooking Fish
Fresh fish should be cooked on they day they are bought or as soon as possible. If we have to keep the whole fish in the fridge they must be gutted, wrapped in a damp towel and kept in the coldest spot of the fridge.
How to clean your fish
In order to remove the scales use a large knife or a special scaling tool. Use the kitchen sink to avoid the mess. It would be more convenient to cut the fin with kitchen scissors.
How to flour the fish easily
Put the flour in a food bag. Throw the fish in the bag, not all together, and shake vigorously. In this way they are evenly covered in flour and they don’t “jump” in the frying pan.
How to keep your fish longer
Fish should be consumed immediately. If, however, you want to keep them for later use you must clean them, remove the head and place them in a bowl with water in the deep freeze. When you want to cook them, defreeze the whole bowl.
